01 — Fixed Head
Fixed Head CNC Turning & Mill-Turn Centres
Miyano fixed-head mill-turn centres produce complex prismatic turned components with dual spindles for simultaneous front and back-end machining, twin turrets that accommodate up to 42 cutting tools (24 driven), and superimposed cutting with up to three tools working at once. Miyano models and bar capacities are listed on the plant list.
02 — Multi-Spindle
Multi-Spindle CNC Turning Services
The Index MS40 is Unicut’s multi-spindle turning platform for high-quality components at scale. It machines with over 40 axes simultaneously, uses Imeca bar loading capable of holding nearly one tonne of material, and has temperature-controlled hydrostatic slides with a Hirth coupling index drum housing six independently programmable spindles.
03 — Sliding Head
Sliding Head CNC Turning Services
Unicut’s sliding-head turning is organised around 16 Citizen centres in size-specific cells, supporting simple and complex work, JIT scheduling, and both low- and high-volume runs. The centres offer up to 13-axis machining, C-axis control on main and sub-spindles, up to 80 cutting tools including 14 driven tools, and high-pressure coolant to 2000 psi.
04 — 5-Axis Milling
5-Axis CNC Milling Services
Unicut’s precision CNC milling services centre on 5-axis CNC milling of prismatic components that need multi-face access and controlled first-off quality. Three Mazak VARIAXIS i-600 5-axis machining centres provide that route. Each has a 160-tool magazine, laser tool measurement and component probing.
A Mazak Palletech FMS with 48 pallets supports unattended production where the process is proven. Pallets use zero-point fixtures for changeovers. The plant list also records a Mazak VCN 530 C with 4th axis and Hypermill 5-axis CAM software supporting the milling cells.
5-axis milling is typically discussed for housings, fixtures and other prismatic parts where features sit on several faces and a turning-only route would not hold the geometry. Work is manufactured to the customer drawing. Turning, assembly, materials and supply remain on this capabilities overview — milling is one process within that plant.

05 — Assembly
Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical Assembly Services
As a customer-focused business, Unicut features a dedicated assembly department to provide comprehensive service. Our assembly team operates in a clean room environment, enabling full or sub-assembly of components while maintaining impeccable quality.
We conduct back pressure and leak testing for pneumatic and hydraulic assemblies to ensure 100% calibration and utilize various jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment to exceed quality expectations.
Additionally, we offer bagging and packaging services to deliver assembled products in standard or custom packaging. Unicut’s pack and dispatch resource ensures timely deliveries with appropriate packaging, providing a complete ‘concept to component/assembly’ service.
06 — Supply Chain
Supply Chain & Just-in-Time (JIT) Delivery
In our industry, timely delivery is not just important; it’s crucial for maintaining uninterrupted production lines. As a customer-focused business, Unicut has earned a reputation for exceptional reliability across various sectors, including numerous blue-chip companies.
To strengthen this reputation, we have implemented several systems aimed at ensuring a seamless supply chain. We have long embraced production supply strategies like Just-in-Time (JIT) and Kanban to guarantee that our customers receive their parts exactly when and where they need them.
As part of our delivery and supply chain solutions, we offer consignment stock tailored to the production schedules of end users, with established maximum and minimum quantity levels. To enhance this service, we provide the option for consignment stock to be stored either at the customer’s location or at Unicut, optimizing the customer’s available floor space.
